Our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the care of patients with severe and life-threatening heart conditions. Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, intensivists, cardiac nurses, and respiratory physiotherapists, the CICU provides 24/7 monitoring and advanced life support for patients recovering from major cardiac events, complex heart surgeries, or critical heart diseases.
We have 18 cardiac ICU and 10 medical ICU beds equipped with the latest technology, including bedside multi parameter monitors, latest ventilators, defibrillators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), temporary pace makers and central monitoring systems with 2D Echo machines and dialysis equipment, the unit ensures rapid response and precise care for cardiac emergencies such as acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), heart failure, arrhythmias, and cardiogenic shock.
Our CICU follows globally accepted clinical protocols and emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and compassionate care. Special attention is given to early intervention, close hemodynamic monitoring, and coordinated care planning, which significantly improves outcomes for critically ill cardiac patients.
